The Holiday Season has officially arrived. In addition to Eating and Drinking “like a bunny”, ya gotta live like one too! I’m really keen on gift giving with a conscious. What I mean by that is, I like to source gifts and services from companies that attach a message to their brand. For example, companies that support animal charities or eco-concious initiatives or gifts that support artisan and local, handcrafted work. Also, I just say “no” to animal testing. I like to treat all of Earth’s creatures with respect and dignity, even in the science lab.
I’ve compiled a few of my favorite Bunny Approved gift ideas for this Holiday Season. Hope you enjoy! 🙂
Mother and Daughter artists, Tulianna and Alejandra Garces are the leading ladies behind this brilliant plant-based jewelry collection, Belart. I LOVE the feel-good vibes of all the collections at The Royal Native. Designer and Lady Boss, Hilary Star de Roy, seems to have a bit of her personality reflected in every piece. Made locally in the USA, each piece is vibrant, unique, and timeless, with a dash of whimsy. These Playa Pouches retail for $35 and are crafted from leftover fabric, so nothing goes to waste. Use these as a stand alone clutch or as a chic makeup bag, this is definitely on my wish list… hint.. hint…
I’m dying for this yoga mat. Not only does it look cool (I love all the speckles), it is made entirely from recycled wetsuits that would otherwise end up in landfills. At $79, this a premium mat and comes in two lengths. Click here to purchase.
This company has a brilliant ethos. Each piece is crafted using eco-conscious and sustainable initiatives. Their Charity by Design collection contains jewelry that gives back to particular organizations. In purchasing this piece for $28, Alex and Ani will donate 20% of the purchase price to support the ASPCA . For more info on Alex & Ani and to check out their entire collection click here.
This reversible tote is the signature bag conceived by Founder and WFP spokesperson, Lauren Bush. I had this bag for years. Not only is it stylish and durable, the purchase of 1 bag will feed 1 student for an entire school year. The bag retails for $80 and can be purchased here.
